Shim Moon seub is an artist who weaves the natural order and traces of time found in the seas of Tongyeong into sculptural form. Through the grain left by wind, waves, and salt, he reveals the passage of existence embedded in nature’s surface. His The Presentation and The Sea series highlight not the perfection of a finished form but the beauty of processes shaped by nature itself, inviting contemplation on the layered temporality in which humans and nature coexist.
